Designed by the lovely Leslie Moore of L. Moore Designs & built by local legend Gary Jobe Builder, this exemplary custom home has a stylish surprise around every corner.
The pièce de résistance, in our opinion, is this glamourous master bathroom. The floors feature a warm variant of Carrara marble, which is also woven with Thassos in an intricate pattern on the accent wall behind a sleek freestanding tub. Black framing on the shower doors adds just the right amount of contrast. The vaulted ceilings are perfectly punctuated by a dazzling crystal chandelier, which lights up the room like a piece of fine jewelry.
Carrara marble also lines the inside of the spacious master shower, where instead of using a typical field tile size, they opted for an intricate matchstick herringbone mosaic. Daring but refined, this mosaic gives the shower walls a softly textured look that we're absolutely loving.
As the master shower walls suggest, these clients certainly aren't afraid of texture, and the spa bathroom is no exception. This phenomenal steam shower makes us feel simultaneously relaxed & invigorated thanks to the matte glass mosaics used throughout. Soft blues & greens are mingled with neutrals to give the space a luxuriously Zen feel.
Upstairs, retro-inspired hexagon mosaics on the floor are complimented by a luxurious white free-standing tub and black accents, including more stunning black window trim. The black & white color scheme continues into the shower, where fearless stripes create major drama. We have to appreciate the installer's attention to detail here; the pattern wraps perfectly from wall to wall, and the dark grout is very neatly done.
In the other upstairs bathroom, antiqued brass fixtures adorn a field of classic white marble in the walk-in shower, creating a soft, sophisticated look that will be in style for a long time to come. You simply cannot go wrong with white, grey, & gold!
In the guest bathroom, a hexagonal mosaic made of soft white & grey marble picks up on the color of the vanity perfectly. Highly reflective glass tiles around the tub compliment the rest of the space, adding warmth, depth, & light. Guests will feel right at home here.
How many people can honestly say that they love spending time in their laundry room? Well, these clients can! In a room otherwise dedicated to chores, we see the perfect opportunity to have a little fun. Soft powder blue cabinets & an abundance of patterned encaustic cement tiles make visiting this beautiful laundry room a delight rather than a chore!
In this custom shower, built especially for the clients’ future fur babies, the tile installer hand laid each piece to spell out "woof" for a whimsical surprise. Personal touches like this make a house a home. We love to see it!
Speaking of gorgeous utility rooms, this magnificent pantry looks like something straight out of a magazine! The same opulent peacock hue was used on the cabinetry, window trim, crown molding, & made-to-order backsplash tile, making this everyday workspace feel lavish & luxurious.
The softly tumbled marble floor on the main level feels both classic & fresh. We love the brushed finish & chiseled edges, which make the stone look perfectly worn in—like our favorite pair of blue jeans. Sun-bleached wood on the coffered ceiling warms up the space, while an abundance of windows infuses the space with natural light.
The tumbled marble used on the interior floors continues outside for a seamless transition into the beautiful covered porch & outdoor kitchenette. Light wood cabinetry is paired with a uniquely textured blue backsplash tile that ties everything perfectly. This space walks the line between luxurious & laid-back, making it a perfect backdrop for outdoor gatherings this summer. We'll drink to that!
